day 14
Another bad day,Mike's blood pressure is still very very low.Dr gave new meds for infection in his mouth today.He is very sick has been in bed all day today has been very nauesated and can not keep anything down.I called chemo dr. wants us to bring him in tommorow after radation to give him IV fluids and meds thru his veins to keep him from dehydrating. Mike's spirits are really down, I have been with him 21 years and never ever seen him like this. Please, pray for him to be strong thru the tough roads ahead of us. We love and miss everyone

Hey guys
I know things are rough and i know it is tough, but we all got to hold our heads up and get through this, we have no choice and I know Mike is tough.We just need to make sure we do what, and when they tell us. We got two weeks behind us and the finish line is getting closer. we dont have to be the first one to get there to win, all we have to do is get there.

Hey Mike, this is a reminder get up get better im bored here without you around go eat some breakfast get some fresh air by the way it got to be around 25this morning you know im loving this weather hows the weather out there hows the people the staff at the hospital everybody treating you fine and catering to your every command cause if they arnt i can be there in a little while and straighten them out. Can you tell that my typing isnt the best and god forbid i think i have forgotten how to spell well gotta go for now but im still praying for you guys and all will be well just keep your strength up move dont sit still dig brother

I am sorry that Mike is not feeling well, but we do look forward to Mike coming back and going in and out the door. We are all praying and thinking about you all. Let us know if we can do anything for you.

Hey guys, this is Hailey Duke. I was terribly saddened to hear of your sickness. My heart hurts for you as I can only imagine the pain you are enduring. I am praying for the both of you. Mr. Mike, I pray for you to have strength and peace. The strength for your body to work with the chemo and radiation to kill the cancer, and peace to get through such trying times. Missy, I pray for you to be encouraging and strong. Encouraging to be there for Mr. Mike and the strength to be that strong rock for him, and the strength to stay healthy while you are enduring heartache and pain seeing your husband go through such difficult times. I will continue to pray for the both of you. I leave you with an encouraging thought from Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

I know how tough it is right now for you, but listen you can do this. Keep your head up and turn it over to God, He wants to work a miracle in you.
Joshua 1:9 says, "I will be strong and courageous. I will not be terrified, or discouraged; for the Lord my God is with me wherever I go.

Good afternoon,
I have followed your blog, and the pain and emotions that you are going through daily. I am at a loss for words, but not hope. Glen and myself have fought the dreaded cancer battle more then once. As I look over the years that I have known you and your family several things come to mind, strength, love and loyalty. You are strong loving family this is a blessing especialy this day in age. Twenty one years and the two of you still make it a priority to spend time with each other and your children, this is a blessing to all that know you. Our prayers are with you daily. GOD has a path for us all we just don't know what that path is, where its going or what we are to learn from it, surrender your life to the Lord he will get you through this. Please if you need anything just ask.
